A Childs Wish (rev.)
A tear fell
Upon my cheek
As I tried
To fall asleep
I think of the children
Who have no bed
Or a place to rest
Their little heads
Then I think
Did I do
Everything I could’ve
Or wanted to
At this special
Time of year
Do all you can
To ease their fears
So before you go to bed
Just ask yourself this
Is there a way for me
To grant a child’s wish
