    I dream of a girl
    I used to know
    In a love that now
    No longer shows
    Somewhere between
    Love and wrong
    We let go of a love
    That was so strong
    I search within
    An empty soul
    For something else
    To make me whole
    But I know
    Deep in my mind
    The love we shared
    I’ll never find
    Sometimes we give up
    Much too easily
    Because the road ahead
    Can not be seen
    If taken slow
    And in good faith
    You’ll find that love
    Was worth the wait
    All that I desire
    Is to try love again
    So we can go back
    To being best friends
