    The night
    When I needed you
    On my darkest night
    My hand searched for yours
    Like it was a ray of light
    When I started falling
    Like a shooting star
    I was thinking to myself
    I wonder where you are
    I know at times my love for you
    Was clouded by the rain
    You know you were my only love
    That’s why I’m in such pain
    I always felt your love for me
    Was the light from the moon
    Romantic when it shines at night
    But gone way too soon

    Ah yes, this happened to me as well, a tough time no doubt, yet my love for him remains, sorry that yours didn't last. Thanks for putting your thoughts into words hope you find love in your heart for her.
