You Mean Everything
When I stop and think about
The moment we first met
I ask myself this question
Do I have any regrets
The answer to that question
Is yes I certainly do
Because at that very moment
I should have said that I love you
When I start to gaze
Into your soft green eyes
I want to lean in for a kiss
But I’m suddenly paralyzed
When I look across the room
At your angelic silhouette
My thoughts are of, such sweet things
That haven’t happened yet
If every time I thought of you
A star fell from the sky
There would be but two stars left
The ones sparkling in your eyes
When I stop and think about
What you mean to me
It does not take too much to see
That you mean everything
