In the Middle of Nowhere
When I lost
Then sought new love
I found myself
Making comparisons of
What we had
Then wondering now
Will my life
Work out somehow
So far to go
After I’ve come so far
At night I’m but one
Of a billion stars
To so quickly, “move on”
Would not be right
When knowing love
Was worth the fight
To just turn your back
Simply wasn’t fair
I wouldn’t leave you lost
In the middle of nowhere
