    A Whole New World

    Laying here awake
    Dreaming in the day
My world is in a quake
    My emotions have been Gray.
    You consume my every thought
    Forever will you stay
My heart is what you caught.
    Like a caged dove
    finally let free
for you all I have is love
    I have found ecstasy
    here with you
    here with me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
