    Poem Commentary

    Inspiration: Christopher McCall.

    Written in NY

    Marooned

    This thing called love
That we all think we know
    Its tearing a bitter hole
    In which we wont show.

    So many friendships
    And relationships ruined
    From this here dreaded word
    Hence leaving our hearts marooned.

    Tomorrow, Today, and Yesterday
    Friendships will come
    Relationships will end
    Nothing is left to succumb.

    So many friendships
    And relationships ruined
    From this here dreaded word
    Hence leaving our hearts marooned.

    Now we all sit
    Broken and torn
    Wishing that love
    Had never been born.

    So many friendships
    And relationships ruined
    From this here dreaded word
    Hence leaving our hearts marooned.
