    Poem Commentary

    Inspiration: Melissa (Issa) P.

    Written in NY

    Grey

    A life not worth living
Saved by what you were giving
    Touched by your sweet embrace
Your friendship was my saving grace
We had the most comforting bond
    Together we grew fond
    Inching closer everyday
Its getting colder now, skies are turned to grey
    This friendship is fading
    What you did was degrading
I want to ignore this fight
It wouldn't have ended so quiet
My days have turned to grey
    I have lost my way
    Without you by my side
All I want to do is hide

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
