And So I Ride
While sitting on the bow of a boat, cutting through the intracoastal waters at midnight...
Moonlight on the water
You on my mind
A merging of the two
and united are my senses
The slow and steady sway
Of a silent dancer's dream
And rolling gently through my soul
...The thief of inhibitions
The glass lay beneath me
A liquid mirror spread before me
I am the diamond cutting
And the jewel belongs to you
The air becomes a mixture
Of breeze and wet desire
The want for more becomes a need
And the wind - a penetration
I stand up to it's force
Closing my eyes - you come to me
Painful is my hunger
...And you feed me
You take my breaths
And you cast them aside
Leaving them to drown
In the wake we have created
Missing you tonight
I turned to face the ocean
Watching your swells
With your taste upon my tongue
I climb back on my memory
I am filled with need for you
...and so I ride.
Moonlight on the water
You on my mind
A merging of the two
and united are my senses
The slow and steady sway
Of a silent dancer's dream
And rolling gently through my soul
...The thief of inhibitions
The glass lay beneath me
A liquid mirror spread before me
I am the diamond cutting
And the jewel belongs to you
The air becomes a mixture
Of breeze and wet desire
The want for more becomes a need
And the wind - a penetration
I stand up to it's force
Closing my eyes - you come to me
Painful is my hunger
...And you feed me
You take my breaths
And you cast them aside
Leaving them to drown
In the wake we have created
Missing you tonight
I turned to face the ocean
Watching your swells
With your taste upon my tongue
I climb back on my memory
I am filled with need for you
...and so I ride.
