    Redemption
    i have slept with many
    laid down with them all
    i’ve come running breathless
    whenever they would call

    placed myself beneath them
    above them and beside
    thrown my head back in laughter
    swallowing their pride

    i have knelt, i have bent
    i have sprawled, i have spread
    upon many floors, upon walls
    upon many a bed

    i have deceived and seduced
    i have cheated and lied
    my fleshly desires
    have not been denied

    but now here before You
    i scream out Your name
    oh God! please have mercy
    and take up my shame

    i am guilty, regretful
    i am sorry, hell-bent
    my Lord, hear my words
    in my heart...i repent
