    “...i will steal...”

    offer to me your hands
    your gentle touch
    your smooth caress
    and i will steal your very sense

    offer to me your mouth
    your passionate kiss
    your warmth and wet
    and i will steal your very breath

    offer to me your self
    your sweat - your heat
    your salted pores
    and i will steal your very core

    but offer to me your heart
    your “forever” talk
    your “promises of”
    and i will simply steal...away

    for i am not one who takes kindly to love

    I really like this. Strange, so many poems speak of wanting love, craving it, and you want to throw it away. It is beautifully written.
