    Broken Heart

     Forgotten faces
    treasured souls
    faces change
    laughter goes

    Eyes grow cold,
    features hard
    anger stays
    hearts been scarred

    A child grows old
    his life swims past
    he remembers one love,
    the first, the last

    Hearts have been broken
    love's price paid,
    memories don't change
    memories just... fade
