Chess pieces in the Game

Chess pieces in the Game.
Pull the brass ring out of the sky.

So lonely are the eyes I see,
Lost are the friends they once knew.

The mirror in front of them reflects only
strangers now.

Lord, put hope back into there lives.

God, please send them a guardian to lead
them back to hope, and promise.

Trevon.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
