Poem Commentary

This is about when i was in high school and this boy was thrown from the back of a truck. He wasn't that old. He rode our bus and we knew his brother. Losing people are really hard. I think the few closest people were in the 6th grade, two in high school, one was before me in piano practice and she went to our church then this lady that own our golf course down our street her mother. We were really close.

Dedicated to corbin

I didn’t really know much about you

But I remember your brother Justin

You used to ride my bus

But now your gone

As I read other poems about you

More people knew you then me

But as I sit down and write this

You shouldn’t have died like you did

Some people can get really hurt

More than just a broken ankle

                                                   And thrown out
