    Jae Lynn Russell

She was very special in many ways

I've known her all my life and now she is lost forever

It was sad when I heard that it was her car that had crashed

Because I lost someone else in the sixth grade the same way

It was a shame because she was only 16

And I've know her all my life

I still think about her in my memories

I know she is watching down on me

Even though I'm sad right now I'm even sad when I look at her

She looks beautiful and beautiful everyday

I didn't really hang out with her, but I know her from church

Sometimes I can't believe that really happened

    I feel sad too

She was the person before me in piano practice

She was very close to God

Jae had a smile on her face everyday

Her sister also had a bag with her picture on it

I can't believe that she is gone

I had tears to my eyes when I heard about her

    But now she is flying

Flying like an angel that she was

    She is cheering for everyone

She was truly a sweet girl

    In loving memories..............

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
