No one seems to care

    No one seems to care

Sometimes I still hold things deep in my heart.

That no one knows or better yet understands.

    Never asking,

    Or wanting an answer.

The days that pass by and then the days going on.

No one ever seems to care.

    Oh, sure care about themselves,

When you have this one friend,

That has always been there for the past years,

    Then never again.

    It makes your heart shatter.

Friends are always suppose to be there.

    When your in need,

or helping you cope with your problems.

You should never seem to care about what goes on in life?

    When you need a friend,

    They will be there

    Side by side

You have more than one friend.

Actually he’s number one in life.
    And he always comes first.

If you don’t have anyone else to count on.

    Be yourself.

    When you need comfort,

You can always count on someone.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
