Love should come easy

Love should come easy

Love for one child
Does not come very hard
That one little cry
And every little single move
One hope
Very little dismay
Chances to find peace
That doesn't exist very far
The love of a child
The heart of a father
The strength of a mother
The hope of a parent
The inner peace
Love without a cause
The beginning with no end
From start to finish
Everyday
Every minute
Every second
Every hour
Doesn't seem to exist
Except in one mind
The heart of an aunt
And the love of God
Love should come easy
In this state of mind
Before it goes away forever
And you never get that chance again

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
