Hearts of War
Everything's spinning, nothing's left
Nothing, save for cold, dread death.
Claim the breath of those so young
Here and there, another one.
Pierced and shaking, hear them cry.
Stand over and watch them die.
Close your eyes and ignore their screams.
Crush the hopes of broken dreams.
Cut down the saplings springing from seeds.
Strike the blow and let them bleed.
Cold, lifeless dolls scattered about
So many, so young, yet brave beyond doubt.
So many unmarked graves...
