    Leaving it all behind

    My tears descend
    The drizzle
    My cover
    Winter
    Its winds
    Tearing
    At my composure
    Facing the sky
    Heart shattered
    Never to heal
    Doomed
    To wander
    A futile existence
    Fallen angels
    Weep their songs
    Souls bursting
    In eternal rain
    Foreshadowing
    A lonely fate
    Holding fantasies
    One can only gaze
    Yet may not touch
    Provoking temptation
    So I begin
    My decent
    The darkness
    Friend to none
    To look back once more
    On a city
    Of forgotten
    In each eye
    Lay broken dreams
    With no future
    Worth living for
    My view
    Justified...
