How to make friends
Start with a smile
Turn corners into curls
Like the elegant sway of artist’s wrist
The smooth rise of an eyebrow
Wink an alluring invitation
Compliment with a twinkle of the eye
Most name this game a flirt
I say its polite seduction
Become the treasure chest
Enticing the wonders of strangers
As they fumble, anxious of its contents
Key in hand, palms slick with sweat
Such a complex situation
For such a simple rendezvous of eyes
Walk briskly, erase the space
Graceful,
Ok, maybe a little swagger
Confidence is always good ;)
