False sanctuary
"I think all of us at one point had a santuary...A place blissful to the senses and like a dream cast us off into a world of safety and freedom"
During times of strife
No sign of escape in sight
I close my eyes
Crossing over
To a plain outside
This dying realm
Placed in a sea
Unknown to the world
Just me by my lonsome
No noise
But the sound of the ocean
My gaze
Barely focusing
On the slight fluxuations
Of the push and pull
Fear of drowning
Nonexistant
Time held in place
As if in an orb
Of pure peace
Nothing can touch me
Hurt me
Permanent sleep
Free to dream
Away from the ignorant
From the nightmares
The true world holds
"Unfortunatly there is no such sanctuary nor are there any. That is the sad truth of the world.I used to believe these mental domains were a temporary escape...they are for a while....But we cant escape reality...as depressing as it sounds...we must make the best of it..Find a way through the perilous obsticals and use an open heart to search this world for the answers to the questions infinite in number."
During times of strife
