Hidden longing
I see many souls
All hearts
Predictable
Mediocre
No interest in sight
Cold and dark
Led into shadows
Masking my dissapointment
With a faded grin
As if a spirit heard my thoughts
She appeared
Like a moon from heaven
Embracing my spirit
Cleansing it
from such oppressive chains
Never before
Have I gazed at such eyes
Sapphires of pure beauty
With a sparkle of starlight
An aura surpassing the moon
In its attempts
At lighting my dark heart
And yet as if this bliss
Wasnt satisfying enough
I want what I cant have
Reaching for this godess
Just to fall back to reality
No such beauty can exist
My mind echoes
So what am I looking at
What causes every breath of air
To make my body light
Once listless eyes
To shine a shimmering marble brown
What makes such illusions
Fooling my arms into hugging
What isnt in front of me
All hearts
Predictable
Mediocre
No interest in sight
Cold and dark
Led into shadows
Masking my dissapointment
With a faded grin
As if a spirit heard my thoughts
She appeared
Like a moon from heaven
Embracing my spirit
Cleansing it
from such oppressive chains
Never before
Have I gazed at such eyes
Sapphires of pure beauty
With a sparkle of starlight
An aura surpassing the moon
In its attempts
At lighting my dark heart
And yet as if this bliss
Wasnt satisfying enough
I want what I cant have
Reaching for this godess
Just to fall back to reality
No such beauty can exist
My mind echoes
So what am I looking at
What causes every breath of air
To make my body light
Once listless eyes
To shine a shimmering marble brown
What makes such illusions
Fooling my arms into hugging
What isnt in front of me
