Old dogs..new tricks
I carried myself in life
As nothing short
Of a wolf without a path
Snapping at dreams of change
My pack abandoned
An omen they deemed unfit
To share the same road
Now free to live
Under my own power
No soverienty
To keep my restless spirit contained
Athority
Was what I made of it
Or so I thought
Without my crew
I was but one individual
My old power
Was nothing in the eyes
Of this twisted society
No support behind me
Vulnerablility was inevitable
Fear replaced Confidence
Like everything I worked hard for
Was crumbling at my feet
Adapting to my destructive enviroment
My heart went callous
Under the stain of abandonment
All seemed predictable
My blood dyed bitter
Until one very humble spirit
Changed my chains of fate
She had been through the same
Deception and hardship
Following her like a shadow
Unable to be cast away
Her friends a union
Made from a lack of self confidence
Yet what made them weak
Was also their source of power
Stronger than what made mine
Of course i was too proud
Afraid of feeling weak and soft
But left a broken figure
Of what I once was
Anything felt like a minor salvation
Like a dream
Nothing else mattered
Warm rays brightend a cold corpse
Deprived of love more or less friendship
As if I had found a new place
An area within the darkness
Were a soul can be wind and free
An old dog learned a new pathway
My head on her lap
I take a new course for the future
Finding misfortune conflicted souls
All the while showing the better side to life
To show acceptance...to set the mind free
As nothing short
Of a wolf without a path
Snapping at dreams of change
My pack abandoned
An omen they deemed unfit
To share the same road
Now free to live
Under my own power
No soverienty
