A wandering soul
I straied from the heart
Of christianitie's soft embrass
Freed of my old chains
I saw the world
For what it truely is
Untamed SIN
Filled with greed
That corrupts hearts
And waith
Known to erode souls

Even the purest of people
Fall victum to this dark fate
I learned to respect and accept
Those for who they really are
I felt less naive
Full of power
Yet because of the holy chains
I carelessly cast aside
My soul fell into a darkness
That I couldnt burst out of
My heart into diarray
I didnt realize
Those chains werent supressing me
But protecting me from the evil of the world
It was to stop me from turning to sin
Not to stunt my learning
To prepare me for the harsh lessons of life
Instead of throw me to lions
So now here I am
Trying to find my long discarded faith
Which now feels like foreign territory
Will I be accepted back
Even when I readily abandoned the way
Just for selfish gain....
