A Beacon of Hope

Oh God how I have longed to know
how someone such as I
could be so important to you.
I have recently discovered why.
You speak through me
to give others hope and strength to carry on.
You have helped me become a light
to those who are lost in their struggles.
I lay my life at your feet
and pray that you continue to use me
to better your kingdom.
You are great in every way
because you have helped me see
how much I mean to you
through the love and trials of others.
You have spoke to me
and given me the knowledge
to speak to others.
You are my strength God
no matter the trials or tribulations I face.
I know I am not alone
because you are with me.
You are the light that I seek,
a beacon of hope
for when I'm lost.
Thank you God for your magnificent love
and your mercy and willingness to forgive.
