    Your Knight
    It seems funny to think
    that I've only known you for a short time
    but I feel my heart falling for you.
    Each time we talk
    it speeds up or skips a beat.
    You have come into my life
    and change my whole world.
    You may be crazy at times
    but I know I'm going to keep coming back.
    It's like you have a rope around my heart
    that you pull toward you
    any time I get too far away.
    It's like my life is in your hands
    but I don't mind at all.
    You are the one I want
    and the one I will cherish.
    I will treat you right
    and protect you every night.
    I will not raise a hand to you
    because its not right to do.
    I want to love you not hurt you.
    I will give my life for you
    if you needed me to.
    I will be your knight in shining armor
    riding in to save the day.
    I'll save you from your enemies
    and protect you from your fears
    and love only you for years to come.
