    We Can Make It
    It seems like perfect timing
    With the clock chiming
    As another hour has passed.
    Finally I see you at last.
    Your smiling face I start to see
    As you are walking toward me.
    You arrive as the clock sounds.
    Oh, how my heart pounds.
    Your beauty takes me by surprise
    As I look into your eyes.
    We are finally together again.
    This battle of being apart we did win.
    We cling to each other tight
    Because we have won the fight.
    Many said long distances would break us apart
    But we are stronger than from the start.
    We have made it through the test.
    We kept our faith and let God do the rest.
    Our love will continue to grow
    Now that we know
    Our love will last forever
    Now that we are finally together.

    I can really relate to this poem. My ex and i had to go through long distance with him being in the marines. yes it did not work but your poem gives me hope
