Your Smile
As we stand here
at the top of the Grand Canyon
the sun starts to rise.
As it reaches it's way toward us
you begin to smile.
The sun caresses your lips
and reflects that glowing smile.
That smile reaches all the way to the center of my heart
and warms it more than anything ever has.
I take in the view
and then I see my chance.
You wink at me and I can't resist.
I wrap my arms around you
and pull you closer.
I look into your eyes as you lean back waiting.
You smile at me again
and I couldn't wait any longer.
I pulled you close and kissed you
after what seemed like hours
of staring into your eyes.
I pull you even closer to me
and deepen the kiss even more.
As we finally break the kiss
the sun is shining directly on us.
I look toward the car
then back at you.
You smile at me once more
as i open up your door.
At that point I know
I could never find someone else
that could affect me like you.
Every time you look at me
I lose control of myself.
I know now I have fallen in love
with you and your smile.
at the top of the Grand Canyon
the sun starts to rise.
As it reaches it's way toward us
you begin to smile.
The sun caresses your lips
and reflects that glowing smile.
That smile reaches all the way to the center of my heart
and warms it more than anything ever has.
I take in the view
and then I see my chance.
You wink at me and I can't resist.
I wrap my arms around you
and pull you closer.
I look into your eyes as you lean back waiting.
You smile at me again
and I couldn't wait any longer.
I pulled you close and kissed you
after what seemed like hours

I pull you even closer to me
and deepen the kiss even more.
As we finally break the kiss
the sun is shining directly on us.
I look toward the car

I know now I have fallen in love
with you and your smile.
