Bringer of Disaster

Today time ceased to move forward

Brought to a screeching halt

No breath is being taken

And I swear it’s all my fault

Assuage me if you can, not likely

But somehow time has stopped

And there’s nothing that can be done

But rid of me, I opt

Consider me a demon

A thriving damn disease

Hang me in the gallows

Or feed me to the seas.

I’ve halted the life of newborns

Extended the time of death

I’ve frozen time eternally

And now I am battling unrest

Catch me catch me if you can

For I am much faster

Catch me catch me if you can

For I am bringer of disaster

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
