    The Day I loved...

We were standing in the rain.

You were completely soaked with water, you were so adorable like that.
    I had to laugh.

You took my hand tightly in your own, your fingers clasping mine so needingly.
I could feel me pouring out of my pores and into you,
    You smiled.

The rain kept falling on our heads, but we were smiling.
You turned to me with a mischievous grin on your beautiful face.
Gently, a mysterious force pulled me to you.

Before i knew it, i was in your embrace and you held me to you like i was your skin.
Your fingers pulled my face up to yours and again you smiled so radiantly.
    I loved your smile.

We stood there like that for a minute then you lipped the phrase "i love you".
Then, your lips smothered mine in a brutally passionate kiss.
It seemed like we had been kissing for eternity.
When we finally broke apart, your smile was even bigger and all i could see was the blinding passion.

    I loved that day.

For someone so young, you have a wonderful sense of style, feeling and of course, passion. I felt this poem because your descriptions were quite vivid. Nice read.

I started writing poetry at just 16. You have a poet's soul. The skills will mature of you keep at it. I enjoyed reading several of your poems, and rated this one to leave "tracks."

Sorry it took me so long to see that you commented on my poem. Thank you! It's great to hear that people read my work and like it. I'm still improving and hoping to never stop improving. Thank you for leaving a comment, gives me a boost of confidence =)

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
