    Hold me

    Please hold me close,
While I shatter in your arms
    Into a million little pieces
And keep me from anymore harm

    Hold me to you
    While I carefully mend
    All that was broken
By the person i thought was my friend

    Don't let me go
    Whatever you do
I couldn't bare it if you did
I just need to be held by you

    Your arms around me tight
    Your embrace easing the pain
    Your body keeping me warm
As we stand here in the rain

    Don't ask what happened
    Don't ask me 'What's wrong?'
Just stand here and hold me
Because in your arms i belong

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
