    Goodbyes

You always told me things that no one ever had,
You made me feel invincible, and I was never sad.

But those things you have said to me were just all lies,
And what I thought you meant to me, just led to goodbyes

I thought you would help to mend my broken heart,
You've only broken it further, i should've known it from the start

where my life was before you, i will now return
And finally without you, I will make it around my own turn

I don't need your help, I shouldn't have taken it at all
'Cause all the while i was rising, you just helped me fall

It's better if i forget you, leave you in the dust
I don't wanna dwell on thoughts of you, forgetting is a must

I know that you know exactly what i mean
You are the one who did it, you are the fiend.

    I can't say that I'm angry, I can't say I'm surprised
It's more like disappointment, in a furious disguise.

I seriously thought you were above that kind of thing,
But i guess you aren't and that is a shockingly painful sting

I also thought that you were better than the rest,
And i was wrong there too, guess I'll restart my quest.

I needed you, I relied on you as well,
But i guess you don't care, so I'll go back to my hell

if i really do matter to you the way you say i do,
then prove it to me and let me know it too

    Thank you =)

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
