His Suicide

His Suicide

His false smile seems happy
But his true feelings are hidden
The torment in his eyes
Show all that is forbidden

The pain that lingered deep
Deep within his soul
It tore him apart
The damage took its toll

He bled deep inside
Trying to forget it all
But the more he tried
The more chance he would fall

Tidal waves of emotion
Crashed over his helpless heart
It drowned him brutally
Leaving scars where he was torn apart

Nothing in the world could save him now
He was sure there wasn't, as he looked around
That beautiful face and that sweet smile
Something he had lost and has not found

Death called to him in his head
Pulling him farther in
His heart stopped beating at once
And then he felt nothing within

Knowing it was all over
He drifted away with the waves
And he finally was happy
Living amongst the other graves

A well-written poem. The emotions are always there, hidden to the naked-eye! This poem will reach many and hopefully save some lives! Thank you so much for sharing it!

It would be great if this poem oould save lives. Thank you!

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
