Destiny
I’m starting on my own sojourn,
To find out what I need to learn.
I think I’ve found my soul mate,
The one with whom I share my fate.
It was love at first sight,
And instantly felt right.
I’ve never felt this way,
And hope the feeling will stay.
I’ve finally found my voice,
And made a life-altering choice.
I’m giving up everything,
To see what life will bring.
Everyone says that I’m making a mistake,
But it’s one that I am willing to make.
They say that I’m too young to see,
Just how hard life can be.
I realize how much is at stake,
But the risk is my own to take.
I can’t believe this happened to me,
I’ve finally found my destiny.
