I find it hard to understand mankind,
How can so many, be so blind?

People seem to be easily sold,
Into believing what they’ve been told.

Nobody seems to see the truth,
Even when they have the proof.

I wonder what the world has come to,
It amazes me what some people do.

It seems as though something is wrong,
I’ve never felt like I belong.

The reason I shed most of my tears,
Is that I’ve always felt older than my years.

My tears soon turn into rage,
My life’s on hold because of my age.

I feel like I have a very old soul,
And my many lives have taken their toll.

We’ve all set out on our own sojourn,
To reach the goal our souls all yearn.

We all have struggles in life to contend,
And happiness will be found at our journeys end.
