Poetry to me is all rhyme
It always takes some time
Poetry can be pretty easy
It can be serious or cheesy
Here are some things that you can do
Write down feelings, emotions, or thoughts too
These things are yours alone
Write them to be your own
Put your poems in a safe place
Like a binder, folder, or a locked case
You can write about someone
Hide or show them when you’re done
You can write about something that’s fine
About a place or even a time
I myself put in a lot of thought
And use all of the time I’ve got
I write mine and you write yours
I write mine behind closed doors
