    EMOTIONAL CHAOS

    Its hard when people disappoint you

    Not noticing how bad you are hurting

    You want to stop expecting a change

    next time it won't matter

    It won't hurt as much

    The problem is your stupid heart

    It can't stop loving or caring for them

    How can you ever be as cold?

    Is it possible to turn to stone?

    Emotional chaos errupts in your mind

    going crazy debating...

    should you forgive?

    forget?

    let go completely?

    Can you trust once more,

    close your eyes,

    pretend to be blind,

    let their lies guide you in the dark?

    Loose all feelings,

    Become deaf,

    Become mute,

    Or just die?

    You ask all the questions

    over and over to yourself,

    When?

    What?

    How?

    Where?

    Why?

    You doubt and blame yourself.

    Then cry,

    yell,

    scream,

    and curse

    but suddenly just smile again

    Realizing life goes on

    While your stupid heart skips a beat

    And whispers try again

    Leaving you feeling like a fool ...

    good write. makes u think. had that relationship with my own mother until I just gave up. it still hurts but I live with it and finally understand it wont change and I can do nothing about it. nicely expressed.

    Hi Mary, How are you hun? This is truly an outstandin' Piece...it draws out the sadness that peeks around a depleted heart...the heart is strong and givin' it knows only how to give Love, yet tends to forget how to live... until another like heart comes along and breathes life.... I so Love what spills from your Hearts inkwell...Blessings

    It's like that sometimes, you wish you were numb just so wouldn't feel how or what you feel. There have been times when I wish I were someone else, someone who didn't give a damn just so I'd move on like you never mattered and it never hurt as bad as it did.
