As trips down memory lane are many times revisited, even the boring ones on this night are interestin' .

That little grin and “mmmhmm” with the head nod, makes it look as though you're listenin' .

Got that food on the grill, drink in your hand, bout to get a refill when  “DAMN!“ 

There goes moms and all the aunties talkin' bout “OOH YEAH THAT'S MY JAM!“ 

Before you know it the whole fam's outside dancin', jerkin' and steppin', swag surfin' and rejectin' .

“Two hops this time, two hops this time“, Cha-Cha-in' with my fam, into the Electric Slide .

Lovin' every lame ass minute -n- every stupid fight . 

We take in every second we're together, cause all though we stay tight .
We might not see each other for two years from this night .
