The Road
I keep finding myself at the same fork in the
road never know which way to go so I take the
one most familiar. Each time grows worse and
always circles back round to the fork.I keep
asking myself why I never take another path.
Just keep coming back.Never reaching the end
only curving round the bend then winds up at
the fork from which I begin. Here once more
like countless times before.Pick the road
most traveled or the road of mystery.Safer
sticking to all I know and gain exactly how
much ground?Zero.Or will I broaden my hori-
zon & lengthen my list of options to where I
may dwell or visit. This is my trip my own
road, you have one too.Directions for me wont
work for you.My map of life was charted only for
me to use.So I choose and point out the best
avenue.Merely follow your heart,to thine own
self be true, and travel the road that feels
right to you.
