    Poem Commentary

    If you take the subject of, "I love you" and you list all the ramifications, then you arrange them poetically, then what you wind up with is this poem. Who among you have not thought or uttered some of the feelings listed? By the way, I do not write "poetry", I write "poems". And by that I mean you can easily grasp, and understand what I am trying to say. I invite you to read some of my other poems, there is no doubt as to what I am trying to say.

    I’m In Heaven

    I’m in heaven when you’re with me

    My heart goes pitter patter

    With you is where I want to be

    It’s all that’ll ever matter

     

    I’m in heaven when we touch

    My soul begins to soar

    How can it be, I love so much

    And yet still beg for more

     

    I’m in heaven when we embrace

    You touch the inner me

    You send me to that special place

    Where I’ve always longed to be

     

    I’m in heaven when we kiss

    It sets my heart aflame

    I revel in such utter bliss

    My life can never be the same

    This made me feel like I was floating on the cirrus with my love. Great job!! I'm still workin on how to describe the bittersweet-ness....
