Will We Ever Learn
Will We Ever Learn
By Chuck McGlawn Chuckest@aol.com (For Her)
You learn that sharing a life today
Just means having the same address
You'll never know where lovers play
Or who he'll try to impress
You'll learn there is a difference
Between what he'll say and do
And always keep you in suspense
But insist he's true to you
You'll learn that kisses do not bind
And presents don't mean a thing
It's true love you want to find
But he's off on another fling
You yearn to trust a lover’s word
But learn you've been fooled again
“I love you” is what you heard
But you catch him in bed with your friend
