Poem Commentary

The thoughts of a poet in love.

What To Say

What To Say

Dedicated to all those who express their feelings,

especially love, through poetry.

I find myself laying here

Wondering what to say

A poem perhaps, full of cheer

To brighten up your day

Something that’ll really show

How you’ve touched inner me

Words that’ll let you know

I think we're meant to be

Words that’ll pierce your heart

And convey the love

I’ve had for you from the start

We fit like hand in glove

But I guess there is no chance

It’ll happen here today

For I am laying here my love

Wondering what to say

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
