    Midnight Awe

                                               Midnight Awe

    Meet me under the gazebo

Within an hour to midnight awe

    I will be waiting there

    Waiting for the first kiss

    The first shared touch

    And the first romantic embrace

    Meet me under the gazebo

Within an hour to midnight awe

    I will be waiting there

    Waiting for the first whisper

    The first shared breathe

    And the first gentle seduction

    Meet me under the gazebo

Within an hour to midnight awe

    I will be waiting there

    Waiting for the first moment

    The first shared event

    And the first new beginning

Very well written. I love the parallel structure. And how, Noon is the moment of expectaction, but here it is midnight. I love it! Keep it up!

Thanks, Hampton. Your words, God's ears.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
