    Red Rock Canyon

    Red Rock Canyon
    Red Rock Canyon
I come to you for mourning
    I cry
    I climb
    I ask you why
    no one hears
my betrayed lover would not even care
my tears drip wet each rock I met
    grey, black and red
    rocks remain silent in glare
    no one answers
my betrayed lover would not even care
    Lost deep into the valley
    I quest up to sky
    gutsy wind blows mountain mist
a facade mask displays shockingly clear
a pretty face under reveals ugly side
    "Do not jump
he is not worthy of your death"
    Heavenly voice echos like thouder
Red Rock Mountain finally speaks power

Even your rhythm is crying in pain. Grief is on the face of most of us and you say it well..................

The voice here cries out in a deep sense of pain... Pleading to the spirits of the earth and heavens for guidance... There is a decision to be made... I sense an impending final act in the play where the voices of pain overpower the voices of the spirits... But, the soul cries out through the noise of the pain to the spirits again, and finally it hears them... The real decision is not about giving in to a fatal error in judgment... Never give an unworthy more value than yourself... A very good write...

Wow, I am amazed by your comment. You are the best critics, I would love to share all my writings with you. Thanks again. Sincerely, Susan

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
