    Midnight Awe

                                            Midnight Awe

     Meet me under the gazebo
within an hour to midnight awe
    I will be waiting there
    waiting for the first kiss
    the first shared touch
    and the first romantic embrace

    Meet me under the gazebo
within an hour to midnight awe
    I will be waiting there
    waiting for the first whisper
    the first shared breathe
    and the first gentle seduction

    Meet me under the gazebo
within an hour to midnight awe
    I will be waiting there
    waiting for the first moment
    the first shared event
    and the first new beginning

This is a very interesting poem using the term "midnight awe" which I seem to associate with some form of mystical poetry. Very nice.

    Thanks, Hampton.

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
