Simple

Chorus:

Keepin' it simple

Keepin' it light

Keepin' it simple

Keepin' it right

Verses:

I want to keep, keep it simple

Enjoy this wonderful time

Throw out all of the complications

Then dive into our minds

You'll shine, whenever we're together

Outside, I'll speak badly never

In time, we'll build our place

Sunshine, to lay our base

We'll just keep, keep it simple

I never worry where you are

You text me, when you're in the car

I look outside, I wonder, wonder why?

People just can't be simple

You and I, yeah lovin' it simple

I want to keep, keep it simple

I want to sing it out loud!

Vibrational attraction, life without distraction

You are always on my mind

Water, sun, and food grows a flower

You and Me and God make love power

We don't need much more. What are they searching for?

Simplify your life to discover!

One way to get the most out of my "Psong's" (Poem/Songs), is to read my poems with a free metronome ( http://simple.bestmetronome.com/ ).

EinStud knows the need for good free lyrics in music. Often, poems do not transform well to song. Please use, adapt, change the words, or modify any poem EinStud has here, if you will simply just give some credit (example: " ... Inspired by EinStud").

Love to hear that from a songwriter EinStud. Don't you just cringe when great singers are forced to use three notes to to sing a one syllable word because the writer disregarded structure and a plausible flow of content? If it don't fit, find another way of saying it - should be the order of the day for any song. I wonder if we can convince Papa to allow us to post mp3's on this site. That way I could listen to some great songs as well as oration on the poems. No harm in asking, right?

Check out Wordslinger's poem, "My fossil was a flower". He actually asks the reader to link up to YouTube while reading his poem. It is a novel idea, but it works. You know what NevillePark? In the old days we had to listen to whatever was on the radio, chosen by a few executives. Today, we can listen to anything we want. There are those who love that 3 note stuff, and they can go on about their business. Because today, we live in a time where I don't have to listen to it (think of the torture our parents had)! :)

Wow Einstud simple never felt so deep. I hope simple is the ingredient your recipe has been missing. Good luck to you both. Beautiful poem.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
