    Poem Commentary

    I welcome poetic answers. I even welcome others making "next versions" (ie: Rights without Wrongs 2 or 3 or whatever). I use this form: Free Style. 4 questions.     near 911?

     

    Should the Koran be burned,

    at its steps?

     

    Are guns,

    a Constitutional right?

     

    Do you live in,

    New York City?

    Interesting. I was hoping the last question would be broad enough, topic specific, but kind of odd (to prevent automatic response) just to see where minds would be. I like the observation you gave. I think, "I survive in New York City" sounds like a great line!

    New York City is more like an experience from what I've heard. I've never been there. A friend of mine went from a small town in Northern California directly to New York City and he said it was stepping into the lion's mouth. So going by what he said about New York City and what my wife has told me about the place; I figured you just survive the place. A poet friend/ RH Peat

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
