    • I should be publishing a book of poetry soon.

    Treachery

My heart is filled with hurt and sorrow,
And I know not what to do.
The pain lashes at me like so many chains,
Riping me, burning me, cutting me in two.

The knife was plunged, then twisted and turned,
By someone I thought I knew.
I thought this someone held me in their heart.
I thought that they were true.

But I discovered I was wrong in my judgment,
And their betrayal cut so deep.
I thought not of putting up my guards.
Now my blood flows due to their treachery.

    Will my wounds ever heal?
    Only time will tell.
For now I remain shrouded in grief,
Because her betrayal hurt like hell.

In a flash life ends with the betraly of a freind..That you though you knew..But once you can look past the pain..your future turns and follows you.

that would be true if the treachery was commented by a friend. but it wasnt a friend who plunged the knife... it was my mother

Alfred Tennyson: I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
