    Poem Commentary

    again, if the flow is off, this was in my head in musical form so, lol.

    Survive

    If you have hope,
    Let it fill you're heart.
    If you care,
    Care with all of you're might.
    And when you love,
    Love with everything you have,
    Cause only with love will you survive.

    I'm just trying to tell you,
    Some facts and some truths.
    Stand up be strong,
    Even when all goes wrong.
    Believe in who you are,
    You can make it so far.
    Then someday you will see,
    You can be anything.

    Just never forget,
    Who you're real friends are.
    They'll help you make it to the finish line.
    They'll be with you until the end of time.
    They'll always be by you're side,
    You're reall true friends

    great job very inspirational. now I hope you do not mind constructive criticism, in stanza 2 should it be; you can make it far? and stanza 3 who your real friends are? Just a couple suggestions. It may be the way you intended it, if so I'm sorry. I really hope you are not offended. I am adding this to my favorites to read for times I need to be inspired. Thank you for sharing. Well done.

    when this poem came into my head it was sung not read so it may sound a little off but when sung in the right tempo it sounds perfect. and i am not offend. i wouldnt be on here if i didnt want to improve and i cant do that without input from others. thank you for yours.

    I have no chatchy ryme for this poem but it is very good. and the meaning is very truthfull. great poem.

    Alas this poem is so true in the thoughts it posseses. There is no rhyme scheme so to speak i tend to think that is by design also it does not necessarily possess any rhythm within its lines. It does however possess something much more powerful and that is wisdom. May your wisdom never fail you throughout your days.
