    For my dear dog Brownie.. He died today at just over a year old.. He was a dear friend to me, and in the last week of his life.. All he wanted was to lay next to me, or lay on my lap, while I gave him my attention. He didn't want anyone else to come near me, he just wanted to spend his closing days with me.. I love you Brownie, and though you didn't live long.. I will continue to remember you.. Thank you for being so special to me.. May God watch you.. Where ever you are now.

    What happens to them?

     Do dogs go to heaven?
    This is the question I asked today.
    Do dogs go to heaven?
    Do they bark, and laugh, and play?
    Did my dog go to heaven?
    When he died ealy on,
    sometime today?
    Did my dog go to heaven?
    Does he hear me when I pray?
    Does God watch over him?
    Until I meet him there someday?
    Did my dog go to heaven?
    Does he see his sister there today?
    Will he be at the gates,
    waiting for me to join him some day?
    Do dogs go to heaven?
    Will we see our pets again some day?
    Did my dog go to heaven, God?
    Will I see my little friend again,
    some day?
